Back to Wellington today on NZ 334 what looks like a nearly brand new Air New Zealand A320  ZK-OKI

According to The NZ Source Air NZ took delivery of ZK-OKI from Toulouse on 11 April 2015

Then Air New Zealand A320SL commenced its delivery flight routing Toulouse – Muscat – Kuala Lumpur – Cairns – Christchurch as NZ6097 over 3 days.

The aircraft is in 171Y Domestic configuration and White/Black Fern Livery, the aircraft entered service on 17 April 2015 operating NZ504 Christchurch – Auckland.

My flight was a short sector from Christchurch to Wellington and everything about the aircraft had that new car feeling.

While to the untrained eye you most likely could not tell the difference – it was little things like the new instruction signage around the exit row, the crystal clear PA system and the crew galley led lighting.

It was a quick and uneventful flight.
